About me: Based in North Berwick for the past twenty-five years, I was born in the Netherlands but grew up in Aberdeen where I graduated in architecture. I have always drawn and painted, fitting it around employment and other interests, which are mainly gardening related.
I find the views of the sea, the sky and the coast particularly inspiring, as well as the natural forms of plants, whilst my architectural training means I also find inspiration in the built environment. Quirky details appear to me - reflections and odd juxtapositions - I like to see the smaller rather than the bigger picture! I am currently President of the North Berwick Art Group.
